No matter where you are, if someone calls a name that is yours, you will automatically turn to acknowledge that person. Why? Because that name applies to you—it identifies you.
Now, if someone calls out “John” and your name is “Mark,” your reaction will be different. You might not even respond, because that name does not apply to you. You don’t identify with it.
Likewise, many life circumstances apply to one person but not to another.
Take this Bible verse, for example:
“Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come to His seat! I would present my case before Him, and fill my mouth with arguments.”
(Job 23:3-4)
If you have been reading the Bible, the first part of this verse does not apply to you. Similarly, if you’ve been praying with me on my Telegram platform, the first part of this verse does not apply to you either.
Why? Because you already know where to take your case. Maybe you read it in the Bible, or perhaps you heard it during one of my Telegram Live Streams—but either way, you know who to turn to and where to go: the Court House of the God of the Bible—the Altar. And He has never lost a case, no matter how difficult it seemed.
I am sure the first part of this verse doesn’t apply to you because you know where to find the God of the Bible. There is no barrier to His Altar. You can approach it. You know how to present your case before Him. And you know, better than anyone, the arguments of your case.
So the question is: Are you willing to do what you know?
