Someone is talking about you right now. Whether it is good or bad, you may never know. However, someone, somewhere, is remembering you. Although it would be nice to believe that everyone is in our corner, we have lived experiences that prove otherwise. In one way or another, someone has hurt, disappointed, or failed you.
The real question, however, is, have plans of evil prospered against you?
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,” Isaiah 54:11
Many would be surprised to know that this verse doesn’t apply to everyone. Although it is widely known, very few can say that this rings true for them. That’s because this type of protection only applies to those who have the Spirit of God. His Spirit ‘bulletproofs’ us against the attacks of evil. It would be naïve to think that evil does not exist around us. Unfortunately, we live in an evil age, but those who have the Spirit of God are guarded against these attacks. The weapons of destruction cannot touch them. They may try, but they will never prosper!
Is it enough to simply confess the verse above? No. A practical approach to seeking the Holy Spirit is required, and there is nothing that evil fears more than the Spirit of God. Seek the Spirit of God. Remain in His presence. When evil tries to throw darts at you, it will always miss because you will be under the protection of the Holy Spirit.
