We often live in a state of reacting. We react to situations, problems, and day-to-day life. It’s not unusual because how can we possibly predict what will happen next?
There’s no way to tell when a problem will arise, but we have the power to speak life over us and our families preemptively. In the face of hard moments, such as a diagnosis, family problems, or bad news, many often turn to God, asking Him to solve their problems. However, we forget that He is with us at all times and has already given us power.
“…He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” I John 4:4
That means when you get bad news from the doctor, you have the power to tell that sickness that you are already healed. When you look at your children and see them going down the wrong path, you already have the power to determine a bright future for them.
You don’t have to react in desperation, worry, or fear when problems come. When God is within you, you are constantly in a state of action. You act on your feet and tell yourself that all is well because, indeed, this world may have problems, but no problem is greater than you because God is with you.
