“For every problem, there is a solution.”

Such a comforting and reassuring phrase. The things we can see and touch are easier to solve.

When something is broken, fix it.

If something gets lost, replace it.

There are simple solutions for simple problems.

However, when the problem is not visible to the physical eye, and cannot be found on a scan or in a “how-to” book, where does the solution come from?

These problems also have a solution, but we have to first understand what we are trying to solve.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities…” Ephesians 6:12

When a problem can not be explained, the source is spiritual.

For example, someone who suffers in their health, but when they visit the doctor they can find nothing wrong. Someone who constantly loses family members, jobs, and even relationships; nothing ever stays with them.

This fight cannot be fought against another person. It isn’t the employer’s fault, the doctor’s fault, or even an ex-spouse’s fault. The problem is spiritual and must be handled spiritually.

The only way to combat the darts that evil throws your way is to have God as your shield. No soldier goes to battle without his armor or shield.

We fight a spiritual battle every day. Guard yourself with the Spirit of God.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
