Some questions require a single answer without delay. What would be your answer to these questions:
• Do you want your rent to be paid in full this month?
• Do you want to pay off all your credit cards?
• Would you like a brand new car?
• How about your school debts being paid off in full?
Don’t miss the point! These questions are straightforward and just need one quick, straightforward answer: YES!
There was a man in Bible days who Jesus asked a straightforward question, but he delayed his miracle with his reasons. He was already suffering for thirty-eight years:
Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked… (John 5:5-9)
This was his story; he is no longer with us. But Jesus is still here, willing and available, and He is asking you your question today.
Do not delay. Do not prolong this problem another minute. Just answer YES and take hold of your miracle today!
