Have you ever seen a parent and child playing in the park and the parent stands at a distance and tells the child to jump from a stump into their arms and without out thinking or asking any questions the child just jumped into the arms of the parent? This is called belief, and you can even go as far as to say trust.

The child believes with all his heart that the parent will catch him and trusts that the parent will not allow him to hurt himself. This belief is what led him to take an action and jump.

To believe and take action is a battle for parents, wives, children and the family as a whole. The question of every parent is, what should I do with my daughter? What should I do to change this boy? Husbands ask, what should I do to change my wife? Others, what should I do to change this person?

Here is the answer; you need to believe!

Even if I spend the whole day here telling you steps, if you don’t believe it comes to nothing! People go to councilors, they go to marriage courses they do whatever but if they don’t believe, nothing works.

One man in the Bible asked the following question:

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31

He got the answer to his question but it also left him with a task and you have the same task today. First you have to believe. You have to be saved in order to help them. The best prayer for the family is your behavior. When you change they will change.

That’s why many wives never change their husbands. Because they go down to the same level as him. When he behaves badly, she also behaves badly. This way you will not be able to save them.

So the key word is believe, but this belief is more than just words, you must add actions in order to see the results.

Start to see them with good eyes. If your son is an addict, see him as a man of God. See your daughter as a woman of God. Your husband as a great leader. Your wife as a suitable helper.

With these actions, along with your prayers, you will surely see great results…

Do you believe?

May the God of the Bible bless you.
