How do people see you? Yes, I’m asking, what kind of person do people view you as? Perhaps people see you as a weak person. Not just weak physically, but weak because of the problems that you have no strength to overcome.

Maybe you are weak in your finances. You have more debts than you can pay, you’ve lost more jobs than you can remember, you’ve tried to start a business so many times that now people just say, “not again”… your finances are weak.

When you look at your health, your love life, your family life, and even your spiritual life, all you see is failures and disappointments. You feel like a weak mother, a weak husband, a weak boss, a weak friend, a weak person in general. And this has been your situation for years.

Don’t give up, because I have good news for you. When God comes down upon your life, you will no longer be weak. In the moment that God comes down upon your life you will be made strong. And this doesn’t have to take long. It simply takes action on your part.

Look at what is written,

But Moses said, “You must also give us sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God… not a hoof shall be left behind… For we must take some of them to serve the Lord.” Exodus 10:25-26

The Israelites were weak slaves in Egypt, but Moses knew that the only way to overcome that weakness was to be strong in the sacrifice they made to God. Therefore he showed strength in the moment that he demanded for the Pharaoh to let them take all of their possessions with them to go and sacrifice to God. He knew that he had to be strong enough to sacrifice the way God wanted, if he was going to see the power of God in his life.

And this is the secret to overcoming weakness. You may very well be weak in any or every area of your life. And that may not be by choice. But there is one place that you can choose to either be weak or strong, and that’s on the altar.

Through sacrifice, you can either show the greatest strength or the greatest weakness. The choice is all yours.

May the God of the Bible bless you
