I’m sure you’ve noticed in your life that when problems come, they come strong and they come hard against you. Just when you think you’re getting over one thing, then comes another. It’s like you have no time to breath.

Be honest with me, you can relate to this, right? You always seem to lose everything. You get a get job, but end up fired. You get a nice house, but lose it to foreclosure. You get a new car, and get into an accident with an uninsured driver and you end up paying everything. Not to mention the medical bills that are piling up. And don’t even speak about  all of the things that you go without buying in order to save every penny.

It’s like when the problems come, they come like locusts, and destroy everything you have. That’s exactly what was happening to Israel, until they got fed up. The Bible says,

“they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza… For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts”

(Judges 6:4-5)

This is what the enemies (problems) were doing to Israel. And this is what your problems have been doing to you. They have come in so numerous that you don’t know where to start. And they have been tearing your life apart.

The question is, until when will you sit back and allow the problems to keep destroying you? Israel waited seven years to take action. Can you live with this problem another seven or ten or twenty years? I don’t think so. So the only thing to do is get revolted (righteously angry) about it and go to the altar of God with your complaint. God listens to those who take action.

May the God of the Bible bless you
