When you are feeling down and depressed and in a pit of despair, it’s very easy to start to feel like you are the only one in the world that is going through that. And worst off, when you feel like you’re the only one, the next thought that comes is that there is no way out.

For example, usually, when a person goes to the doctor and they run all the tests and try all the treatments and nothing works, the doctor tells that person to go home and set their affairs in order because it is a lost case.

But for God, there are no lost cases. He always has an answer and a solution. You may be suffering from an incurable disease, facing eviction, feeling suicidal, depressed to the point of sleepless nights, or in a marriage that is failing fast. Even if all of these things are happening to you, God has a way out for you.

That’s why His word says,

God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

(Psalm 46:1)

God is a very present help. But He can only be very present when you call on Him. He doesn’t listen and then ignores. He doesn’t turn His back or just sits back and watch you suffer. And He is not a slight help, He is a very present help.

So you should call upon God now and ask Him to help you with whatever you are going through. Just make sure you call on Him with faith and assurance that He will answer, and you will see the help come quickly.

May the God of the Bible bless you
