Have you ever had an experience when someone came up to you and complimented you on your perfume? They even asked what was the name of it and where you bought it?

No one needs to advertise the perfume they are wearing, just by putting it on, the smell speaks for itself. With this example in mind, let me share a story with you:

One day a lady was watching our program on TV whilst she was desperate and using drugs. She was getting high on heroin and cocaine and wanted to kill herself. As she was watching the show, she called the number but then hung up and went to shoot some more drugs.

For some reason she didn’t feel high, so she called the number again, and the Pastor answered and spoke with her and told her to drive to the church right then. Wisely guided by the Holy Spirit, he held the conversation on the speaker as she was driving and kept her busy talking to him because she really wanted to kill herself. When she arrived at the church, he brought her in and prayed for her, setting her free from the evil that was destroying her. At that same moment, she gave her life to the Lord Jesus and he even used a bottle of water to baptize her on the spot.

My question for you is; what led the Pastor to do all of this? The perfume of Jesus Christ, which is the Holy Spirit. The Word of God says,

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

(2 Corinthians 2:15)

Reflecting on this example, who do you profess to be? A born again Christian, faithful church member, a pastor, bishop, first lady, prophet, or whatever. Honestly, it doesn’t matter your title, what matters is what fragrance you are letting off and how it is impacting the Kingdom of God. Today in this difficult moment when people are looking for answers, God needs more than ever for His servants to let off His fragrance.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
