Just like a scar that is visible to everyone who sees it, many people are walking around with marks on their lives. These marks are the scars of problems and battles that they have yet to overcome. Many are marked by failure in the love life, others are marked by debt and misery, others are marked by confusion and doubt, some are marked by insecurity and self hate, others by addiction. And the list goes on and on. The marks of destruction are clear and evident.

One thing you may not know is that God also wants to mark your life. But He wants to mark it differently. In whatever God does, He always leaves His mark. And His mark is permanent and life changing.

For example, many years ago God came down upon Mt. Sinai and marked it. Though it was thousands of years ago, the mark still remains. As it is written,

Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Exodus 19:18

Until today, the top of Mt. Sinai is black from the time that God came down with fire upon it. And that is how He wants to mark you. He wants to mark you with His power. The power that heals and delivers from drugs and alcohol. The power that delivers from prostitution and bitterness. The power that transforms lives completely. God wants to leave the mark of His power on your life.

But in order for God to mark your life, you need to leave your mark of trust and dependency on Him. That mark is made by sacrifice. True sacrifice on Gods altar. When a person gives what they value and need the most in order to show and prove to God that their trust in Him is more than just words… this becomes the greatest display of faith, and it leaves a mark on God. Yes, it leaves a mark on God. He remembers what they did and how much they trust Him and He will immediately began to work in their favor.

So if you want to remove the marks of misery and receive the mark of victory, you need to leave your MARK OF FAITH on the altar.

May the God of the Bible bless you
