Imagine this, you have two men that died. One man was poor (but I mean very poor). So poor that he could barely buy a half a loaf of bread. The other man was very rich. He was so rich that he could buy a whole bakery.
Both of the men died. And when it came time for the funeral, the rich mans was very very luxurious with all of the best decorations. The poor mans was so simple and it had nothing extravagant about it.

My question is, will God save the rich man because he had a fancy funeral? Will God save him because of all of his money? And what about the poor man… will God save Him because He feels pity on him? Will God save him because he had so many hard times in life? No and no.

God doesn’t look at whether you are rich or poor, man or woman, black or white. God doesn’t say, “can I have your ID, to see where you are from?” Your soul is saved when you give your life completely to God and mainly when you receive the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God says,

“..who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”

(2 Corinthians 1:22)

So with this we see that the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our future, success and most importantly our salvation.

Your next question should be, “how do I receive Him?” And to that I must be honest with you… it requires your all. All for all. You need to sacrifice your life one hundred percent for Him. You need to give up your will, your old ways of thinking and behaving and be willing to surrender everything that He asks from you. That is how you receive the Holy Spirit. And once you receive Him, He blesses you with everything else that you need.

May the God of the Bible bless you
