Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8

Examine your thoughts. Does everything that occupies your mind meet this criteria? Keep in mind only what is true, just, pure, good, etc. Salvation is not easy. To keep it, you need to be aware that we were saved, we are saved, and we will continue to be saved if we remain faithful until the end. There is no way to remain faithful to the end without overcoming bad thoughts.

One of the secrets to maintaining salvation is prayer in spirit. It should be made as soon as a bad thought comes to mind. Instantly, in your mind without saying a word. And with all of your strength, drive them out in the name of Jesus.

If we don’t immediately, they become stronger, putting our good conscience and, consequently, our salvation at risk. Thoughts are inevitable. Positive ones should be enjoyed and cherished. Negative ones must be banned. Even if they seem to be good or make sense. We can not prevent them from coming, but we have the power and authority to rebuke them.
