I have a question for you; can you separate someone from their shadow? It’s impossible right? Sometimes you even see funny videos of little children trying to run away from their own shadow, but it just runs along with them.

The Apostle Paul once said,

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Romans 8:38-39)

When the apostle says the love of God, he is not talking about an emotional love that you feel for a friend or someone you are dating. He is talking about the power of God. And faith is that power. Faith is a weapon that if used properly (without doubts) will change your life and bring great benefits.

Those who live by faith prevail. The gates of hell can not prevail against them. They prevail against all evil, against pestilence, famine, disasters, distress. They overcome the entire world because The Lord Jesus overcame, and He empowers those who serve Him to overcome.

Just like in the example of the shadow, how it can not be separated from who it belongs to. You should be able to apply that to your faith. Nothing should be able to separate you from your faith.

When you have a living faith, then you can begin to personalize the Bible verse above. You can insert the problems you are facing in place of the problems listed and profess that they will NOT separate you from the power of God. And they will not destroy you. They will not be your end!

May the God of the Bible bless you.
