God blesses His people with prosperity, abundance, gold, silver, etc. But He does this in order for these same people to recognize Him, honor Him and glorify His name. He gives to us, expecting to receive back from us. He gave Abraham his son but after asked for him back. He gave to Gideon’s family the second bull, but later he asked for the second bull.
Everything we have in this life came from God. We came into this world naked. Maybe some will say, “but the clothes and food that I have come from my parents…” True, but your parents were not the creators of anything. God is the creator. If your parents gave them to you, it’s because they first received them from God.

So everything we have belongs to God. The house you live in, the job, the business, the computer, the cellphone, the tablet, etc. All of it belongs to God. He is the owner of everything. And what does He want from us in return? First of all obedience. And we show this obedience when we return the tithe. Secondly, when we sow our seeds. When we sow our seed we are giving to God who gave us the seed in the first place.

The bible says:
“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown…” 2 Corinthians 9:10

God is the one who provides seed to the sower. But if you won’t become a sower, you don’t need seeds. Why should God give a seed to someone who will not sow it?

Become a sower today. Make a vow to God. I’m not just talking about tithe and financial offering. I’m talking about the seed. When we put the seed into the ground, God makes a way for it to grow and bear fruit for us. But when you are greedy and selfish and say, “no this seed is mine”, I will not sow the seed… No problem, you will only have this seed and will even end up losing it. Because if you don’t plant, you won’t reap.

If you aren’t willing to plant, then even the little you have will be lost. Be faithful to God, give to the ground what the ground requires from you. And God will increase your seed, and the more seeds you have the more you will plant and the more you will have for you.

May the God of the Bible Bless your Life,
