We are nearing the end of the Fast of Daniel and perhaps you have this question in your mind. Who exactly is the Holy Spirit? Let me answer it for you.

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit). The Three are One, but we can not live on earth without the Holy Spirit.

Let me ask a question, how would the world be if you took the Lord Jesus’ name away from the earth? If we took the bible away, if we took the Holy Spirit away? The world would be like the beginning before creation… DARK. Without form and void.

To live here on earth, we need to Holy Spirit for survival, because He is the one that helps us. The scriptures call Him the Helper. Let us read it and see for yourself what is written:

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”  John 14:26

The Holy Spirit teaches you what you don’t know and brings to remembrance things that you are taught. How many people go to church and after the service they forget everything, or they read the bible, and then forget everything. When you have the Holy Spirit, He reminds you of God’s Word, He guides you to understand and helps you keep it in mind. That is why, spiritually speaking, it is impossible to survive in the world without the Holy Spirit. And the good thing is, you don’t have to, as long as you seek Him with all of your strength.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
