There is no greater pain for someone that wants to have children and can’t, then to see someone else with a beautiful little child, whilst they themselves can not have one. It’s not that they are mad that the other person has children. They are simply sad and broken by the fact that they can not have their own. Every time they see a baby stroller or a newborn in the hospital or a man throwing the baseball with his son, etc., they will feel cut to the heart.

If a person feels that kind of pain because they see another person with a child, then just imagine what Abraham felt when he saw 318 men born in his house, and grow up being trained for war… and he himself did not even have one child. It is written,

Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. Genesis 14:14

As you see, it says “he armed his 318 trained servants who were born in his own house”. He saw child after child born and had none of his own. But God had a plan all along and was going to make him great and make him into the blessing.

We all know that Abraham became the father of faith and multiplied to have many children. His nation is much greater than 318 today. But the change all started with his sacrifice. By him leaving all he had behind and obeying God’s voice, he showed God that there was nothing more valuable to him than God. And by doing that, he opened the door for God to change his entire situation, and answer his greatest dreams.

If you are willing to do the same, then God is willing to change your life as well. That’s what the Campaign of Israel is all about. If you are willing to obey God’s voice and do what He asks of you, then you will see the greatness of God in your life, starting now.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
