We are still at the beginning of the month of December, and according to the calendar, it is the last month of the year. But if you can believe, it doesn’t have to be your last month.

There are many things that get better with time instead of worst. For example, fine wines, many kinds of cheese, and even some types of meat are dried and aged for flavor. That’s just to name a few. But the point is, there is no rule that says because time is passing your life has to get worst or stay the same. The end of the year can be for you the beginning.  The beginning how you might ask? The beginning of a blessed life for you, the beginning of your conquest, the beginning of you being truly happy, the beginning of you having peace inside of you.

God once told the people of Israel;

“This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you”. Exodus 12:2

You see He didn’t say the beginning of months for the whole world. He said, “for you”. That means that it was a new beginning for His people. Those who obeyed and served and sacrificed their lives to do His will. If you want to start over, you don’t need to wait for January 1st to come around. Your fresh start can be today. But what will decide if you receive that opportunity is the decision that you make and the effort that you put into the month you are in right now.

It’s not about luck or the change of the day on the calendar that matters. It’s about you stopping to put your trust in your own strength or in fate and deciding to challenge your problems and place your dreams on God’s Altar.

This Month there will be Bishops and Pastors from all over the world meeting on Mt. Carmel to pray for those who have this faith. Faith to surrender their life for God’s life. If you are one of them, go to the nearest Universal Church and speak to the pastor about participating in the Campaign of Israel.

May the God of the Bible Bless you,

Bishop Bira Fonseca
