If you were traveling on a long trip and you stopped at a gas station to ask for help with directions… as long as you believe that he knows what he’s talking about, you will undoubtably follow his instructions. But if you don’t follow his direction, it’s because you don’t believe he knows what he is talking about. For whatever reason, you don’t trust him.

Isn’t it the same with God. You show how much you trust or believe in Him by how you treat Him and by what you are willing to do, or stop doing or give up for Him. There is a scripture that says;

“…many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 8:11

This “many” that he’s talking about are those who enter the church already prepared to obey whatever they hear.  Those who don’t limit God through their doubts or fears or uncertainties. And these are the ones that we see giving great testimonies of a transformed life.

What God wants from you is a willingness to give up whatever He asks, before He even shows you why He’s asking you to do it or what He will do for you in return. He wants to see faith in action. Abraham did not talk, he acted through the many times he was willing to sacrifice all to God. And those who take action by sacrificing to change their life, will sit at the seat with Abraham, Isaac and Israel… the seat of honor.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
