There are certain fruits and vegetables that can only grow in certain seasons. There is a season for watermelon, cherries, tangerines, etc… they all have their season. If you go to an orchard and look for tangerines out of season, you are not going to find them. But in season they are abundant. The farmer needs to plant the seed and water it and believe that it will bear fruit.

Think about your life in the same way. There are many things that you’ve asked for that seemed to be out of season. No matter how hard you tried you just could not see any good fruit. Perhaps you are already frustrated. Perhaps you have thought of giving up. But before you give up, listen to what the Word of God says.

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12

The Lord will give you rain in it’s season… but when will your season come?

The answer is simple, it all depends on you. It depends on your decisions. Your level of surrender, your sacrifices, your commitment. It depends on how thirsty you are and what you are willing to give up or leave behind in order to reach your goals.

Give the messed up life that you now have to God, and He will start to send rain (the blessing) upon your life. Because your season is now.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
