I remember when I was five years old that I cut my finger, and it left a scar. I have actually had the scar on my right finger until today. I went to school and then to college and the scar was there. Later on, I got married, and the scar was there. I matured and had children and the scar was there. And still today the scar is still there.

My point is, the same applies to a curse. It is like a mark on you. No matter what you do to be free, it’s like you can not. The scar that I still have until today, reminds me of what happened to cause it. Every time I look at the scar on my finger, I remember that I was holding scissors at that moment and cut myself.

A scar is something that marks your skin, and a curse is the same. It is something that marks your life. Perhaps you were born with a disease and no medication really helps the disease. Or perhaps it’s your love life… your grandparents had the same problems that you now have. In your finances, you never can keep money, you move from place to place, you never keep a job. These things and more are curses on your life.

The first step to fix the problem is to stop running from it. You need to recognize what the problem is, in order to fix it. God can set you free from the curse, but only if you recognize that it is there. As the Word of God says;

“However, our God turned the curse into a blessing.” Nehemiah 13:2

And that’s what He wants to do in your life today.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
