Many are those who walk around wearing a mask. The mask is the life of pretend. They hide the doctors note that says you have cancer. They hide from everyone that the husband is cheating or that he filed for divorce, they hide that the son or daughter is on drugs, they hide their insecurities. They hide and they wear a mask (pretending) that they are happy. But it never works.

Hezekiah was a king in Israel and as a king, he wore the royal garments, the fancy clothes. But when the enemy threatened to come and annihilate him and his people, he had to make a decision.

The Bible says he took off his royal clothes and covered himself in sackcloth.

And so it was, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord.

Isaiah 37:1

Maybe you have an eviction notice or the doctors said you have a few months to live. Maybe you are about to be deported or you reached a dead in in life. Right now there is nowhere to turn.

In this situation, you have to do what Hezekiah did, when he found himself in the same situation as you.

Remove the mask!

People see you driving a nice car but they don’t know that you are about to lose that car. They see you hugging and kissing your wife, but don’t know that you don’t even sleep in the same room. You are a beautiful lady but they don’t know that you are carrying an incurable disease.

It’s time to be sincere and allow God to help you solve the situation you are going through. Place the threat before God and He will help you solve it. But if you pretend, nothing will change in your life.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
