How many times have you been outraged by an unfair situation? You left early in the morning to go to work and returned home unemployed; You lay down to sleep feeling well and woke up sick, not knowing why? The relationship was fine, admirable, but after some time, this beloved person decided to leave you. The company was thriving, it lacked nothing, but now you’re about to go bankrupt. Situations like these have been common in your life for a long time and what have you done about it? Is it fair for you to live like this?

It is at this time that you have to go into revolt and not accept this kind of result in your life. Here’s what Abraham did:

And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” Genesis 18: 23-25

Abraham did not accept seeing the righteous being destroyed with the wicked. He knew God was righteous and would never do anything like that. The righteous is the believer who obeys and has his life on the Altar; the wicked is the one who lives an unjust life. Therefore the righteous stand before God; he wrestles with God for righteousness.

You must look at your life and think to yourself if this situation you are in is fair? If that’s the way God wants you to live? If you see that everything is nothing more than a great injustice, then go to the Altar and show your revolt, for only then will there be a difference in your life. It’s all or nothing!

If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now—if I have found favor in Your sight—and do not let me see my wretchedness!”. Numbers 11:15
