Many people wonder why God allows them to go through very difficult situations in life. They feel that it is unfair for God to allow them to suffer so much hardship and adversity. And they even feel God does not want to listen to them, and that is why He is taking so long to answer. But read this verse and think with me:
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you
Jeremiah 29:12

He promised that you would call upon Him and He would listen, but what kind of prayer will get God’s attention? When you are in the pit… your prayer is one way. When you are still falling down into the pit… your prayer is another way. When you are still at the edge of the pit… your prayer is another way. The more difficult and tough the situation is, the greater your cry for help will be.

God is not deaf, nor does he ignore the cry of those who manifest their faith and cry out to Him. But you will never get an answer if you do nothing. If you do not awaken your faith and cry out as one that is IN THE PIT, not just near it… then you will stay in that pit, because you are not revolted against being in it.
Faith requires action, doubt does not require anything.

Those who live by doubt, stay in the pit because they don’t take action to get out of it. If you doubt that God can or will get you out of the pit, then you will stay in the pit. But if you have faith that God can and will take you out of the miserable pit that your life has been in, believe that He will take you out the moment you cry out to him, and obey what He tells you to do.

May the God of the Bible Bless You.
