If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? Malachi 1:6

Many fathers have been hurt by the rejection of their own children. Many children grew up in a home without a father and don’t even know what it is to have a father that loves unconditionally, much less do they understand how to honor such a figure.

A father is supposed to be that solid rock in a family, the one that will do anything to protect his loved ones. A provider that cares for his family and will go through any extent to make sure his family has a roof over their head and is well taken care of. People no longer appreciate father’s and too many it’s a mere word unworthy of respect. There are many men, but not many FATHERS.

Today we see a lot of father’s rejecting the role and children refusing to respect their father. God is the Father, our Heavenly Father that will never leave, reject or abandon us. He is the ultimate Father that wants nothing more than to care for each one of us. He wants to provide our every need, protect and love us unconditionally. But instead of accepting Him with open arms, many people run in the opposite direction. They turn away from the only opportunity given to have a Father in their life that will always be present. This is the reason why many people are struggling, are bitter, and live life unhappy in want and in need.

Your Father, the true Father is waiting for you with open arms. Honor Him as your father and He will not let you down. This Father’s Day, come to Honor your Heavenly Father. It’s never too late to start a new beginning.

May the God of the Bible Bless All of You!
