If you want to please a school teacher, she expects you to listen in her class and be helpful in every way you can. If you want to please a police officer, then you have to obey what he says, and not be disrespectful to him. If you want to please a doctor, you have to give him compliments and make him feel like he is the best doctor in the world. Everything in the world has requirements. So then, what are the requirements of God? What do you have to do, in order for Him to be willing to accept you?

The Lord Jesus said,

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” John 6:37

Those who come to Jesus, He will never cast out. No matter what your background is, no matter how bad you have been or what you have done wrong. Jesus does not look at your mistakes and judge you. He doesn’t choose according to race, religion, age, or anything of that sort. He is looking for two things only… faith and sincerity. With these two things, you can call God’s attention to your life, right this moment.

So many make the mistake of thinking that they must be perfect for God to answer them. But if you look at Jesus’ disciples, which one was perfect? What about Moses, David, Jacob, and so forth. Were any of them perfect? No, not even one. Let us approach God with faith and sincerity. Faith to believe that He exists and will hear you. Sincerity, because you must be honest with God and not try to come wearing a mask.

Do these two things, and it will be the beginning of a new life for you.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
