Remember the days when you were young… how your parents made you promises that were so big and so amazing that although you wanted to believe them so bad… deep inside of you, you doubted that it would happen or that they would do it. Especially if you had been let down before. It’s even possible that instead of making you happy, the promise even made you feel low, because it was discouraging to know that it most likely would not happen.

That’s how faith and doubt works as well. Faith brings your life up, doubt puts you down. Because of doubt, many have been chained. You have been bound by the problem. And it is because of doubt. You want to believe that your life can change, but you doubt that it can because of the size of your problems.

Perhaps your situation has been bad for so long that you have even learned how to cope with it. But that’s not what God wants you to do. He wants you to believe that no matter what you see in front of you, your life can change. And it can.

He says;

‘I will go before you
And make the crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron. Isaiah 45: 2-3

Many have seen great changes in their lives because of the bold steps of faith that they have taken. Incurable diseases have been healed. Debts have been cleared, families restored, marriages revived, and many more miracles. But they all began with faith.

Maybe you are wondering, how you can awaken your faith? It all begins with meditating on the Word of God, and continues with you believing in His Word and then acting based on it. You can not believe in something that you don’t know and have never heard. But once you know what His promises are, you need to take Him at His Word and start to act. Then you will see how great His power truly is, as it comes to life in your life.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
